‘Education Fair’ concludes in Kohima

The two-day education fair organized by EduCentre and YouthNet Nagaland in partnership with Runway, The Knowledge Network and EduHub concluded on Wednesday at Hotel De Oriental, Kohima. 

Students from different schools and colleges in and around Kohima attended the fair.The main aim in organizing the fair was to provide opportunity for students and parents to directly get in touch of the institutions around the country offering different courses and information about the career opportunities.

The fair featured renowned institutions such as Nutan College of Engineering and Research (NCER), Sandip University, NASIR( Maharashtra, India), Surya Datta Group of Institute Pune, Kamla Nehru Group of Institution Pune, Krupanidhi Group of Institutions, Sharda University, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Sanskriti University, NGF College of Engineering and Technology, Shri Ramakrishna Educational Institution, Neasterns Education Consultants, Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Chitakara University, OM Sterling Global University  and including St. Joseph University, Dimapur. Around 15 students have applied for different courses during the education fair. 

The fair will now be held at Hotel Acacia, Dimapur from May 24-25.

OSGU will be the centre of excellence for students of Nagaland. 

Addressing media persons, Dr. Dinesh Kumar, professor of Om Sterling University said that Om Sterling Global University (OSGU) recognized by the University Grants Commission will give global exposure to the students of Nagaland. 

He said, Om Sterling Global University will work on the student’s overall development and added that the facilities provided by this university will be better than other government and non-governmental universities. Special focus will be on campus placement so that the students studying in the university can stand on their feet while completing their studies, he added.  Om Sterling Global University is located in Juglan village, Hissar, Haryana.
