Parents Teachers Association (PTA), Zunheboto Govt College (ZGC), organised “Fete Day” on July 13, in Zunheboto, near SBI branch, in aid of college development for NACC accreditation and assessment.

A press release from ZGC, stated that PTA convenor, asst. professor, ZGC, G Phukato Sema said that sense of belongingness and ownership should come from stakeholders to promote infrastructural development and not only through government funding.
PTA member, Inahoto G Assumi, stated that involvement of parents in college activities will enable them to recognize responsibility as stakeholders in building future of their children and should not shift responsibility upon the institution alone.
He stated that tremendous visible changes have taken place in the college over the past few years due to sincerity of the people in the administration and renewed dedication by the college faculty. Assumi said that ZGC is the only college in the district with huge number of students turning up for admission and graduating every year which has huge impact on the society. Therefore, he said it was the utmost concern for the government to provide adequate facilities to the college, and on the other hand, community concerned should also work together for the welfare of the college.
