‘Ricebowl Festival 2020’ cancelled

 The second edition of the “Rice Bowl Festival 2020” has been cancelled due to safety concerns regarding the coronavirus pandemic. This was decided during a consultative meeting of the organisers held on November 17.

The first edition of the ‘Rice Bowl Festival’ was held in December, 2019 at Central Park, Jalukie Students’ Union Nagaland (JSUN) Reserve Forest, Jalukie. Celebrating the bountiful harvest from its valley by showcasing exquisite varieties of rice/paddy and rice based produce and also demonstrating the rich cultural heritage of its people. 
Various activities and functions were organized including the famous 'Music Fiesta' where a number of artists and bands from around the valley participated. The core committee of Rice Bowl Festival expressed it enormous gratitude to all the members, participants and those who have believed and supported them.  

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
