The biggest (12x5 feet) Art work of this year “The Last Supper”, painted by Naga artist Seto Kuotsu, is on sale at the Art gallery, Naga Heritage Village Kisama.

Speaking to Nagaland Post, the stall owner and Naga artist Mhao Aaron Odyuo said this abstract painting with 13 characters was done by one of his studio artists (Art village). The piece has been displayed for exhibition and sale at the cost of Rs. 90,000. However, he said that after the final touch, which could take 2-3 months, the painting would cost Rs.2-3 lakh. Odyuo claimed that after final coating the painting with water proof would last more than 50 years. This painting could be one of the costliest single piece Art works display at Kisama this year.

Realizing the interest of Art work by many Naga youths and prospect for earning through this profession, Odyuo said he would organize a workshop on Art talk during the ongoing Hornbill festival.
