15-day employment oriented training & skill development ends

The 15-day employment oriented training and skill development of semi skilled operators organised by National Highways Infrastructure and Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), PMU-Dimapur, with co-ordination of Construction Industry Development Council New Delhi concluded on September 23.

According to DIPR report, during the valedictory function held at Patkai Christian College, DC Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan who also distributed certificates to the participants while sharing his earlier experiences with the participants said that one should not consider himself as a perfect mechanic, operator or the electrician as there is always a possibility of learning. He therefore encouraged them to make value addition whenever opportunity arises. He also congratulated all the participants and wished them a bright future.

The training programme was attended by 30 participants, 15 each from EPC Contractors of Dimapur-Kohima road and Dimapur bypass road. Most of the participants were the operators of heavy earth moving machine, paver, JCB and batching plants, along with electricians, mechanics and plumbers.
