3 SHCs inaugurated at 37 Tyui A/C

Three Subsidiary Health Centres (SHCs) and a village gate were inaugurated at 37th Tyui A/C, Wokha on Friday. 

The three Sub-centres at Old Riphyim, Yikhum and Nungying villages were inaugurated by deputy chief minister and BLP leader, Y. Patton; minister of Health and Family Welfare, S. Pangnyu Phom and minister PHED, Jacob Zhimomi. 

According to Dy.C.M.O media cell, speaking at one of the inauguration programme, Patton said that the creation of Sub- Centres will facilitate in improving the health care facilities of the areas. He thanked the minister of H& FW for the creation of the Sub- Centres and bringing development in health sector, particularly in his constituency. 

The village gate at New Riphyim village was inaugurated by minister Higher and Technical Education and state BJP president Temjen Imna Along. He urged the gathering to cooperate and support deputy chief minister, Y. Patton to bring more development in their areas. Imna also encouraged the people and party workers to sensitize and carry out the BJP membership drive sincerely, as BJP being one of the largest National political parties in India. He also said that BJP was a pro- people and not anti-Christian party. 

Minister Health and Family Welfare, S. Pangnyu Phom also visited the PHC, Englan and interacted with officials of medical department. During the interaction, the officials apprised him of the problems faced by PHC Englan, as the office is run from MO quarter due to the lack of office building. To which, Pangnyu promised to look into the matter. 

Pangyu, who inaugurated the Yikhum Sub- Centre, also encouraged the villagers to take care of the Centre with a sense of ownership. He also expressed confidence that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio and Dy. CM, Y. Patton, the PDA government will complete its full term and will bring more developments in the state. 

Minister PHED, Jacob Zhimomi, who inaugurated the Sub - Centre at Nungying village, in his short speech said that through the initiatives and under the dynamic leadership of Patton, the long cherished dreams of the villagers have come into a reality. 

The deputy chief minister was also accompanied minister Soil & Water Conservation, Geology & Mining, Kashiho Sangtam; Advisors  Dr. Longrineken, Tovihito Ayemi, Kazheto Kinimi, Khehovi; principal secretary and commissioner, Nagaland  M. Patton and host of officers and department officials.
