3 Tuensang colleges hold consultative meet

Oriental Theological College, Yangli, Kihoto Theological College Yakor and Imlong Theological College Tuensang held their first consultative meet on September 7 and 8 at Oriental Theological College, Yangli mission centre.

The consultations were held to discuss the possibility of working together in the near future. 

The three colleges presented the visions and missions of their respective institutions. Oriental Theological College principal, Chumpongse, in his welcome speech highlighted the credentials of his college and put forward some proposals about working together.

A community Gospel hour in the evening was marked with special presentations from the three colleges. Executive secretary of United Sangtam Baptist Lithroti Ashimükhong, Rev. C. Lima exhorted the gathering. 

He encouraged the theological teachers to be good architects and the student community to be diligent builders of the Kingdom of God. 

Academic dean, Kihoto Theological College, Eito Sumi preached the word of God on the topic ‘Mind of Christ’ from the verses Philippians 2:5-7. 

The meeting ended with an exit report by Oriental Theological College.  The college authority thanked the two colleges for making the program a successful one.
