Couples for Christ (CFC) Nagaland has conducted 3rd CFC Nagaland family ministry anniversary under the theme “Let there be Light” (Genesis 1:3) on October 12 at Jubilee Hall, Christ the King Church, Kohima village.

A release from CFC Nagaland informed that, Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima diocese was the main celebrant for the Holy Eucharist. 

Martin Anthony, CFC India, national director declared CFC Nagaland as CFC Nagaland cluster and announced the new cluster head and 4 new chapter heads: Mengukhrietuo Marcus as cluster head, CFC Nagaland, Kehouletuo Alexander as chapter head for chapter A, Buni Dominic as chapter head for chapter B, Zasi Stany Rume as chapter head for chapter C and Joseph Kiusumong as chapter head for chapter D.

He also announced the CFC–Singles for Christ Nagaland leaders: Petekhriezo Francis as chapter head, Asanuo Jeanne, Ketholeno Alice, Meguolekho Mark as unit heads, Khriesiesanuo Steffany and Menuotuonuo Monica as household heads.

CFC Nagaland area governance team will also include: Mengukhrietuo Marcus – area director /cluster head, CFC Nagaland (family ministry head & ANCOP), Kehouletuo Alexander – chapter head for chapter A (evangelization & mission), Buni Dominic – chapter head for chapter B (pastoral formation officer), Zasi Stany Rume –chapter head for chapter C (music ministry), Joseph Kiusumong –chapter head for chapter D (member), Ruokuotuo Robert – unit head (church relation officer) and Medo-o Mathew –unit head (MSG).

It may be recalled that CFC Nagaland was launched on August 4, 2014 with CFC and Handmaid of the Lord (HOLD) by Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil in presence of Bro Danilo Abutas mission head CFC Nagaland and his wife Annabelle and Bro Hector and his wife Garnet CFC India, national director.

Servant of the Lord (SOLD) and Singles for Christ (SFC) was launched on October 16, 2016 by Bro Danilo Abutas mission head CFC Nagaland and his wife Annabelle.

CFC music ministry was launched on March 5, 2017 by Mengukhrietuo Marcus, state coordinator and chapter head cfc Nagaland in presence of Bro Rico and his wife Amy, couple missionary, CFC International.

Youth for Christ (YFC) was launched on August 5, 2017 and Kids For Christ (KFC) was launched on August 6, 2017 by Bro Danilo Abutas mission head CFC Nagaland and his wife Annabelle. With all these the CFC family ministry was established and the 1st CFC Nagaland family ministry anniversary was held on September 23, 2017 at SIRD auditorium, New Secretariat Colony, Kohima with the theme “Strong and Faithful.”

The 2nd CFC Nagaland family ministry anniversary was held on September 23, 2018 with the theme “Rekindle the Gift… Fulfill your Ministry” at Rüsoma village. Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima Diocese, Nagaland was the main celebrant for the Holy Eucharist.

During the 3rd CFC Nagaland family ministry anniversary, Petekhriezo Francis and Menuotuonuo Monica compered the function. Rosary was led by Medo-o Mathew and Khriengunuo Catherine. 

Short speech was delivered by Martin Anthony, CFC India, national director and Keneingu Albert. Exultation was led by Rev. Fr. James Sangtam, followed by cultural programme. Vote of thanks was proposed by Patrick Inakhe.

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
