3rd NE youth mission conference concludes

Three-day, 3rd Northeast India Youth Mission Conference 2019 held under the theme, “a wide door for effective service” at Kandinu Baptist Church came to an end on October 20.

A press release by media cell of the conference stated that the conference was attended by around 200 delegates from different parts of Northeast India including delegates from different Churches of Nagaland.  In a keynote address, Rev. Dr. Mangyang Chang thanked the host church and gave a brief introduction of the IEM. 

He encouraged the youths to be involved in mission works, adding that around half of the World population has not heard the gospel and around eighty thousand die every day without knowing Jesus Christ. 

The inaugural programme chaired by Lumdemo Kikon was opened by National Secretary for Church Supportive Ministries IEM, A Jenny Christopher and invocation by Rev. Khisenlo Apon.

The Praise and Worship was led by the Rengma Baptist Church, Kohima; welcome address was delivered by convenor of the steering committee, Niwalo Kath and special song was presented by Mizo Choir.
