49 Tamlu BJP to erect Vajpayee monolith

BJP workers of 49 Tamlu A/C have decided to erect a monolith to honour Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A press release from state council member brand ambassador of Nagaland, panel member, North East Namaste, Swacch Bharat Mission, L. Shaupen Phom stated that the former Prime Minister of India came to Kohima during December 30-31 2003 and recognized the plight of Nagaland’s backward tribes and approved three districts namely Longleng, Kiphire, Peren and also promised to construct a four lane route between Dimapur-Kohima. The release requested BJP workers of Nagaland to extend their moral support for the commemoration of the auspicious event at the Tamlu headquarters under Longleng district. Phom invited BJP workers, minister S. Pangnyu Phom, and minister and state BJP president Temjen Imna Along, to grace the event on December 2018 to mark late Vajpayee’s 94th birth anniversary.
