49 treated at Health Camp

Forty nine citizens were treated at the health camp held at the newly inaugurated Diphupar-B Health and Wellness Centre by the staff under Diphupar-B H&WC, PHC Chumukedima and Mobile Medical Unit Team on December 9. 

The medical team was led by Dr. L. Chem, accompanied by Dr. Narola, PHC Chumukedima, Agunuo, CHO Diphupar-B and staff under PHC Chumukedima, MMU team and Diphupar-B staff. 
Besides general OPD examinations, blood sugar and blood pressure were also checked as part of Non Communicable Diseases (NCD), ANC check-up of pregnant women, and eye screening for cataract was also conducted. 
The health camp was organized to make the community aware of the facilities available at the newly established Health and Wellness Centre and also to create awareness on NCD screening for 30+ years, importance of ANC and immunization.
