4th Northeast India Fashion Week 2019 to be held in Dimapur

 The 4th edition of Northeast India Fashion Week (NEIFW) 2019 Nagaland chapter will be held in Dimapur from April 26 and 27 at Hotel Acacia where models will showcase designer collections and weavers of Nagaland. 

NEIFW “The Khadi Movement” is an initiative by Yana in Style, the magical touch of northeast India (You are not alone) a non-profit organization of the Northeastern region. The fashion week is an effort to embolden Northeast weavers, craftsmen and thus the markets. 

The chief operating officer of the event, Gloria Ovung, who is also a fashion designer based in Guwahati said, “This edition will be held here in Nagaland as we Naga’s are very creative and talented when it comes to fashion” and invited interested designers from Nagaland. There are three designer categories – Emerging, Establish and Enthusiast. Forms are available at the website and can be submitted at or by calling 8761804768.  

Model casting director, Menty Jamir said that model auditions will be held at The Northeast Window, the Magazine partner of the NEIFW, located at Naharbari Junction, on March 16. Interested models can login to the website or facebook page.
