Sony India has announced that Xperia P users will soon get Android Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. The announcement on Sony’s official Facebook page states that that the company will be releasing the Android 4.0 update for Xperia P smartphone between August 19 and August 25.

Although there is no clarity on the method of ICS update, but media reports say that the update will be rolled out via the company’s software update tool.

The Sony Xperia P that comes with an internal storage of 16 GB, has an 8 megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash and a VGA camera in the front to aid video calling and conferencing.
