Back to work ... Prince William is co-pilot of the RAF rescue chopper.
Newlywed Prince William was back at work yesterday - just four days after his spectacular wedding.
More than two billion saw him tie the knot with Kate Middleton in the stunning ceremony at Westminster Abbey. The couple then shared a brief weekend break at a secret location.
But now the dedicated Royal and his new bride have returned to the cottage they share near his RAF base in windswept Anglesey, North Wales.
And while Wills, 28, was back grafting as a co-pilot with his Search and Rescue team, Kate was getting used to life as a Forces wife.
An MoD source confirmed on Tuesday: “He’s back at work - it’s business as usual for William. It is a normal working day, well, as normal as can be expected.”
Flight Lieutenant Wales, as William is known to the RAF, had been eager to get back to duty with his comrades despite the wedding televised around the globe.
He wasted no time getting straight back into the swing of his job as the co-pilot of a Sea King helicopter.
Speculation is rife about where and when the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will honeymoon.
But both the destination and timing remain secrets.
The delayed honeymoon stunned those who were glued to TVs on Friday and a million well wishers who lined London streets.
Kate, who started visiting Anglesey regularly after William was posted there, will now call it home for the next 2 years.
The couple face being separated for ten weeks in the near future when William is sent to the Falklands.
Kate, 29, will not be able to join him in the islands 8,000 miles away, scene of war with Argentina in 1982.
