Believe in yourself, do what you love to do and pursue your dreams -- it was such messages and more that American rapper Wiz Khalifa gave to fans at his debut gig at the TIMEOUT 72 music festival here.
The rapper, whose real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz, performed some of his most celebrated songs and collaborations such as “Black and yellow”, “See you again”, and “Payphone” here on Thursday.
Vaishal Shah, Founder, TIMEOUT 72, said in a statement: “TIMEOUT 72 helped people experience this vibe and a rich confluence of music and other art forms in a boutique environment.
We are happy to have brought in substantial returns to the local economy and create business opportunities for the state of Goa.
“Our aim was to deliver a unique fan experience and we have created history for a festival in its inaugural year.”
The multi-genre music festival which began on Wednesday, ended on Friday.
