Commander in chief of Karbi Peoples Liberation Tiger (KPLT) Kangthur Sunday had a narrow escaped from the hands of Diphu police.

According to police sources, Diphu police extracted information about the “transit details” of the KPLT chief from the two arrested cadres of the same outfit that “he is going to Hamram from Howraghat”.

However, a jawan from home guard “divulged” the information to Commander in chief of Karbi Peoples Liberation Tiger  chief, “through his own channel”. Diphu police has also charged the HG under different section of IPC.   

Naba Kumar Bora, officer in charge of Diphu police station told media that two cadres arrested were identified as Raju Terang and the other David Millick.
