Police dispose 2 hand grenades

Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad of the Manipur police successfully defused a two Chinese-made hand grenades that were found placed at the residential houses of two individuals in the last 48-hour.
Police suspect the hand grenades were placed by militants in connection non-fulfillment of their monetary demands served to the individuals.
One of the hand grenades was found placed at the residential house of Mutum Kaleshor Singh, an intending candidate of upcoming elections to the gram pachayat, at Bashikhong under Irilbung police station of Imphal East district Wednesday night. |
