Four Don Bosco University students go to University of Arkansas, USA

Four students of Assam Don Bosco University - Shraddhanjoli Bhadra, Barasha Hiloidhari, Tavleen Kaur and Manas Pratim Mahanta – will be leaving on August 14 for a year of study at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, USA, as part of the ‘Student Exchange Programme’ between the two universities.
The students have just completed four semesters of B. Tech in Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics and Computer Science Engineering.
They will complete the 5th and 6th semesters in Arkansas, without having to pay the university fees of Arkansas.
An MoU was signed on March 13, 2012 between Don Bosco University, represented by the Vice Chancellor Fr. Stephen Mavely and the University of Arkansas, represented by Dr. Jerry G. Stevenson, the Associate Vice Chancellor for Eetended Programmes.
The MoU seeks to promote educational and cultural cooperation in the areas of education, research and exchange.
