Zeliangrong Youth Front (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland), Zeliangrong Youth Front Tamenglong Zone, ZYF Nungba Zone, ZYF Tousem Zone, ZYF Tamei Zone, ZYF Churachandpur zone, ZYF Imphal west zone, ZYF Imphal east zone and other zones have condemned the killing of Chunthuigai Kamei, ZSUM general secretary by NSCN (K) cadres at Luangkao (Nungkao) on August 17.

ZYF in a press statement said the perpetrators, who were “donning” the image of National workers were unfit to remain in a human society.  Further, ZYF demanded from the NSCN (K) to hand over the killers to the law enforcing agencies.

It also urged the government of India not to remain mute spectators in the incident but step in case the responsible organization failed to hand over the culprits to book as per the law.

ZYF also appealed to all the Naga underground organizations to follow the path of peace and maintain maturity and stop killing amongst themselves.
