Zeliangrong students’ union Nagaland (ZSUN) has condemned the “barbaric act” killing of Chunthuigai Kamei general secretary of Zeliangrong students’ union Manipur by suspected underground cadres NSCN (K) at Longkao village Tousem sub-division Tamenlong district Manipur on August 17.

Stating that the act of not showing respect to students’ organization by so called national workers was very unfortunate and does not deserve to serve Naga nation in any manner, ZSUN has appealed the responsible organization to immediately identify the culprit and take befitting punishment as per the law.

The union further appealed to all the Naga underground organization to follow the path of peace and maintain maturity and stop bloodshed among themselves.
