ANAK to take part in senior nationals

All Nagaland Karate-Do Association (ANKA) would be taking part in the upcoming senior nationals at New Delhi from August 17 to 19. With regard to this, state level selection would be held on July 14 at ISKF-India main branch dojo, Signal Angami, sector-A, Dimapur from 9:30 am. ANKA informed that selection would be based on new WKF rules, 2012 for kumite and kata and that participants should be at least shodan grade in the respective styles and 18 years and above. The association also informed all recognized karate styles affiliated/registered to ANKA as per the provisions of the constitution would be eligible to participate in the championship. Qualified karatekas would be required to deposit `1500 each for the championship, ANKA informed.
Meanwhile, all styles registered/affiliated to state association have been asked to renew their annual registration fee of `2500 on the day of selection.
