Ward No.14 -Poter Lane and Ward No.15 A.G Thursday reached the semifinal in men’s football while Ward No.18 Para Medical and Ward No.19 P.R Hill also secured semi final berth in women’s volleyball in the ongoing 3rd inter-ward men football and women volleyball tournament organized by NPF unit  9-Kohima Town A/C at D.Khel ground Kohima.

In the first match in men’s football, Ward No.14 -Poter Lane defeated Ward No.8 New Market by 2-1 and  Ward No. 15 A.G defeated Ward No.16 NMH/Lerie/NST 2-0.

In women’s volleyball, Ward No.19 P.R Hill got a walkover against Ward No. 6 D.Block while Ward No. 18 Para Medical defeated Ward No.17 Agri/Forest/Electrical.

On Friday, in men’s football Ward No 12-Upper Chandmari will take on Ward No.6 -D.Block at 1 pm while in the 2nd match Ward No.11 PWD will take on ward No.17 Agri/Forest/Electrical at 3 pm.

Similarly, in women’s Volleyball, the first match Ward No.4 Naga Bazar will meet the Ward No.12 Upper Chandmari at 1.30pm while Ward No.13 Lower Chandmari will meet Ward No.16 NMH/Lerie/NST.
