IK Yeptho beat United Friendship in thriller

IK Yeptho Thunder FC overcome United Friendship FC in a thrilling quarterfinal match in the ongoing 2nd Unity Cup played at DDSC stadium, Dimapur on Monday.

IK Yeptho won the match in a sudden death 4-3 after both teams remained 2-2 in the regulated time.
Even in the tie-breaker both teams remained locked to 2-2 draw and it was only in the sudden death IK Yeptho emerged victorious.
The match was reduced to 80 minute after due to soggy condition of the field.

Earlier, in the other quarterfinal Dimapur United defeated Delhi Public School 2-0 to reach semifinal.
On Tuesday in the last quarterfinal Re-union Society would take on United Boys at 3pm. The match patron would be president Youth Association of Nagaland, Athrongba Sangtam.

Meanwhile, the organizer has informed both the teams to reach the venue by 2pm.
