Chumukedima Students Union (CSU) Inter School meet 2012 concluded Friday with 1st class contractor, A. Pongshi Phom as the guest of honour at NAPTC ground, Chumukedima.

Out of the 21 schools affiliated under CSU, only 15 schools took part in the five-day long event. Gracing the closing function, the guest of honour stressed on the importance of games and sports in student’s life. He said that students participating in this kind of sporting events not only get an opportunity to exhibit their talent but strengthen their body and mind.

He further urged the students to be active in sports as well as in their academic session. He also gave away the prizes to the winners in various categories.

The secretary report on the whole events was read out by Teisovinuo Pucho, general secretary CSU.
The closing function started with an invocation by Glorie, president CACWF.

Assistant general secretary CSU, Thepfüvikuo Secü chaired the function while the vote of thanks was delivered by advisor CSU, Pelesavi Rurhie. 
Earlier, the opening ceremony on September 17 was graced by state DGP, O. Alem.
