Army recruitment rally in Dmu

Army recruitment rally will be held at Dimapur from August 20 to 28 at the Bhagat Stadium, Rangapahar (Dimapur).
The recruitment will be open for unmarried male candidates only for the following categories: for soldier general duty only for youth belonging to all districts of Nagaland; soldier (clerk / store keeper technical) and soldier technical for candidates of all NE States.
Re-enrolment into DSC category for ex servicemen will also be carried out. The screening of candidates will commence at 6.30am on each day of the rally.
The schedule will be as follows (candidates are advised to be present at the Rally accordingly): On August 20 at 06:30am to 08:30am for Dimapur, Kiphire, Longleng, Mon and Phek districts only for soldier general duty. 
On August 21, at 06.30am to 07:30am for Wokha, Kohima, Peren, Tuensang, Mokokchung and Zunheboto districts only for soldier general duty. On 07.30am to 09:30am for soldier technical, clerk/storekeeper, sportsmen and re-enrolment into DSC cat for ex servicemen of all NE states; sons of serving personnel / ex-servicemen, sons of war widows and widows of serving personnel and NCC certificate holders from Nagaland state only.
Medical examination and documentation of the remaining candidates, will continue up to August 26 and those candidates who clear the medical examination with effect from August 20 onwards, will appear for the common entrance exam, at Bhagat Stadium, Rangapahar (Dimapur) on August 28.
On August 28 from 6am onwards for verification and conduct of written test for all selected and medically fit candidates of soldier general duty, soldier technical and soldier clerk/store keeper technical categories.
Eligibility conditions for various categories are as follows: For Soldier GD category only- candidates born not before August 20 1990 and born not after February 20 1994, and those who have passed minimum 8th Class, are eligible.
For soldier clerk / storekeeper technical, the eligibility conditions are - Only candidates born not before August 20 1988 and born not after February 20 1994, and those who have passed 10+2 or intermediate exam from any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with min 50% marks in aggregate and also minimum 40% marks in each subject; should have studied and passed English and Maths/accounts/book keeping at 10th or 12th level with 40% marks in each subject. If the candidate is a graduate with Maths and English as his subject in BSc, the stipulation of scoring 40% in class 12th/10th is waived off.
In case the candidate is a graduate but does not having English and Maths/Accts/Book keeping, he should have scored more that 40% in English and Maths/Accts/Book keeping at least once in class 10th or class 12th.
20% bonus marks on the marks scored in the written test will be awarded to candidates with certificates in computer (basic computer course) and typewriting obtained from DEOACC – ‘A’ level.
For soldier technical, only candidates born not before August 20 1988 and born not after February 20 1994 and those who have passed 10+2 / intermediate with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and English with pass marks in each subject, are eligible. 
For consideration in the sportsmen category, a candidate should possess a certificate of having participated at the state or national level in any recognized sports discipline, within the last two years, or should have won a silver or a gold medal at the district / university level.
Medical examination will be conducted only for those candidates who pass the physical fitness tests, physical measurement tests, and whose documents are in order. For detailed enquiries, candidates should contact/visit the Army Recruitment Office/the nearest Army / Assam Rifles Unit / Sainik Board Office / DC Office.
