Newly posted deputy commissioner, Peren Senti Ao convened a consultative meeting with GBs Union, DBs Union, pastors of different Churches under Peren town, Zeliangrong Hoho, Chairman Union, ZMO, PTWWO, chairmen of nine wards, political parties, etc., on June 20 at DC’s official residence, Peren.

The DC in his speech, called for utmost co-operation and support from the district leaders expressing his willingness to serve in the backward district like Peren.

He expressed that without peace, development cannot take place and challenged the district leaders to have unity and peace make Peren the ‘Switzerland of Nagaland’.

Earlier, various organisations and unions also spoke welcoming the new deputy commissioner Peren which included Chuba Ao (BDO) senior citizen of Ao community Peren, Speaker Zeliangrong Baudi, President- ZMO, Adai, President DBs Union Kochuiding, Secretary Peren District G.B Union Hingtung, Yanger Pastor Ao Baptist Church Peren, Er. Tangit Jamir, Deputy Commandant 1st NAP Chumukedima Sungit Longkumar and others.
