Old Changsu Students’ Union (OCSU) and New Changsu Students’ Union (NCSU) had condemned the illegal tax demanded from Englan government high school headmaster and science teacher besides threatening their lives.

OCSU president, Limhathung N. Yanthan and NCSU president Khochobeni Tungoe in a statement stated that the incident took place on July 10, 13 and 18 by Khyothungo Humtsoe of Aree village claiming to be from GPRN/NSCN. The student bodies urged GPRN/NSCN to book the culprit, failing which it said, would be compelled to take its own course of action.

CWFK: Chozubami welfare forum kohima (CWFK) has condemned the act of Khotsoto Keyho who was arrested by Kohima north police on July 14 in connection with unauthorized collection of money in the name of Kohima old age home (KOAH).

The forum seriously viewed the crime committed by Khotsoto and tarnishing the image of the community and village in general.

 The forum further expressed regret to the management of KOAH for maligning the good reputation of the institution and also appealed the authority to award befitting punishment to the accused as per the law of the land.
