Training of beneficiaries under beneficiary empowerment programme 2011-12 was conducted from July 17-19 at the office of the deputy director of sericulture, Dimapur.

In a release, Wabang Lemtur, deputy director of sericulture said resource persons were Khezheto Sumi, who lectured about ‘the host plants, method of plantation and diseases related to host plant.

Vikehielie Pienyü, Seri officer, lectured on ‘post cocoon technology’, Sanjay Rai, Seri officer, lectured on rearing techniques and Kahoto, a progressive farmer shared about Muga rearing experiences. Altogether 50 Muga beneficiaries registered for the training.
