Beisumpuiram village to be recognized

Beisumpuiram would soon be recognized as a village in Nagaland. Deputy commissioner of Peren, Senti Ao has in a notification given 30 days notice for “claims or objections” with regard to the recognition of the village.

According to reports, the boundary of Beisumpuiram village as claimed would be New Beisumpui/Duinaki river to the north, Heiranglwa village to the south, Duinamreu/Songlhuh village to the east and Nrimbangreu/Old Beisumpui village to the west.
The DC was reported to have stated that no “claim or objection” after the stipulated time would be entertained. Beisumpuiram village, if recognized as a state village would now avail all assistance and benefits of the state and central government.

Beisumpuiram village chairman Mbailang, in a statement has lauded DC Senti Ao and his subordinates for the initiative taken to make Beisumpuiram a recognized village.
