NSCN (I-M) raided hotels at new market, Dimapur and caught nine persons, all hailing Assam, while indulging in immoral activities.
According to a press release issued by NSCN (I-M) UT secretary Chonbenthung Lotha, the raid was led by Tokishe Swu “deputy kilonser (home)”, in-charge CSD, CAO UT-1 and Dimapur town command commander. The hotels that were raided include Mintu Hotel, Green Land Hotel, Natraj Hotel and Chantan Hotel.

It said that raided was carried out after the properties of hotels at New Market failed to uphold the “bond of agreement” signed December 1, 2011 at NSCN (I-M) UT-I office declaring not to indulge in immoral activities at their hotel premises.

NSCN (I-M) said all those persons were deported to Assam by UT-I staffs after they promised not to repeat such unwanted activities in Nagaland. Also, the Hotel at New Market was locked according to the “bond of agreement.”
