Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) Friday said a meeting of its office bearers, members of central executive committee, and president and colleagues of the six tribal federating units, and eastern Naga national workers such as ENNWA of NSCN (K), ENNWA of GPRN/NSCN, ENNWU of NSCN (I-M), NNC-accordist of the ENPO, held at Tuensang September 11, 2012 resolved to uphold the reaffirmations on December 18, 2007 at Tuensang Summit, November 13, 2009 at Kiphire and March 23, 2012 at Tuensang.
A copy of resolution released to the press, signed by ENPO president P.Pongom Khiam and general secretary N.T.Thamlong Phom, stated that the meeting resolved to appeal the chairman CFMG/CFSB to enforce the ceasefire ground rules in letter and spirit in ENPO jurisdiction, particularly movement of cadres with arms in uniforms in civilian areas, for meaningful non-conflict zone.
The meet also resolved that erring cadres would be dealt accordingly to the magnitude of one’s activities by the authority they belonged to within 15 days and side by side the respective tribal hohos shall coordinate to enforce the action.
“The habitual defectors shall not be enrolled in any Naga national group,” the resolution stated.
Based on the above resolutions and particularly the Longleng resolution of September 29, 2005, the meet resolved that in the event of threats, killings, torture, physical intimidations, kidnappings etc, by any Naga national group/faction to leaders/innocent citizens of ENPO, within and outside ENPO jurisdiction, stern and appropriate action would be taken by the general public of the ENPO irrespective of tribes.
