Nagaland contractors’ and suppliers’ union (NCSU) has granted another day to the goodwill mission consisting of Naga Hoho, Naga mothers’ association and Naga students’ federation to resolve the imbroglio between the NCSU and state government on pending bills issue.

Speaking to media persons in Kohima Wednesday, NCSU officials said decision arrived at a joint meeting held between the officials of NCSU Head Office, district unit officials and goodwill mission at its head office, Kohima.

Goodwill mission team while asserting that they worked for bringing a positive response towards the clearance of the pending bills sought for additional day, they said.

Trusting the assurance of the team to resolve the matter, NCSU officials said they decided to grant additional day and kept in abeyance its proposed phase-III agitation till September 20.

It may be mentioned that Nagaland Contractors’ and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) had rejected SIT verification on pending bills and demanded a CBI probe or independent judicial inquiry committee to look into the issue.
