After the successful conduct of the ‘Young Leaders Connect-2’ held at Heritage Village on October 20, YouthNet is pleased to inform that India’s top English News channel CNN-IBN will be airing a compilation of the day-long programme on November 17 at 4:30 p.m. and a repeat telecast on November 20 at 5:30 p.m.

This is the first of its kind where a major television news channel has officially covered an event and with this, YouthNet hoped that the national coverage would help promote Nagaland in a major way and also show the immense potential the state and the Northeast region have to offer.

YouthNet would also be distributing documentation CDs of the event to leading cable houses across the country.
It may be mentioned that ‘Eclectic Young Leaders Connect-2’ was organized by YouthNet in collaboration with the Government of Nagaland on the theme “Connect, Exchange, Strengthen” where eminent personalities from the region including members of parliament, Baijayant Jay Panda and Rajeev Chandrashekhar spoke on issues pertaining to the region.

The event which was launched in Kohima in 2011 received huge response and the ensuing editions are slated to be hosted at a national level in the coming years, stated YouthNet.
