Accountant General office informs pensioners

Accountant General (A&E) office has informed that confirmed pension applications for issue of pension authority, received up to the month of September 2012, have been issued.

In a press release, accountant general (A&E) office stated that cases which were under objection due to incomplete documents would be issued on proper receipt of required documents.

It has informed that the list of settled cases was available in the AG website. Pensioners have been requested to log on to the website at www.agnagaland.gov.in by clicking Felicitation and Pension Felicitation or by clicking directly on the sticky Note written “Click here to view list of settled pension cases”.

It also informed the pensioners that the normal time taken in AG’s office to authorize pension after receipt of confirmation from department was 60 days and all pension cases were authorized within that time limit unless there was a serious deficiency of required documents.

As an established procedure, the release said pension cases were authorized in AG’s office within 60 days and delays/complains if any in any individual case could be taken up with the Accountant General directly in the form of complaint, which would be redressed within 15 days.

Further, AG office requested the pensioners not to heed to false propaganda about AG’s office or entertain middleman to get their authorizations from AG’s office.

In case of any grievances or deficiency in service, the office has requested pensioners to contact (09436601437) accounts officer (pension) Arup Roy directly or write to the accountant general (A&E) personally.
