The organizing committee of the 7th general convention of NPF party to be held in Dimapur at DDSC stadium on November 29 has decided to reduce the number of delegates from all assembly constituency units for the forthcoming convention.

Member secretary, organizing committee, T Shuya, in a press release informed that the committee in its meeting on November 12 resolved to make slight modifications for general information to concerned divisions, A/C units and central authority.

The changes and modifications are as follows: Instead of 200 delegates, only 50 delegates from all 60 A/C units; division office bearers/youth/women (100 x 12 divisions) 1200 members; central office bearers and frontals (200 members); Dimapur Division, youth, women, cells, delegates (1600 members); invitees (200 members); Manipur state NPF unit (200 members) and Arunachal Pradesh NPF unit (100 members).
The total strength will be 6,500 members.

Accommodation for 19 A/Cs delegates where NPF is unrepresented, the NPF party and organizing committee would take the responsibility, the release stated.
