National School of Drama with its alumni Bendang Walling and his team consisting of 7 members organized a play titled ‘Chimti: The ant an evolved play’ at Raj Bhavan, Kohima on November 5. The concept of the play was based on how materialism has turned man blind with greed and how the art of destruction by humanity has affected the social and ecological system.

Governor, Nikhil Kumar was impressed by the performance put up by the children and thanked Walling for his effort in trying to bring changes not only in the lives of the orphans but also for imparting message through drama and to keep up the good works.

The children who took part in the play were from Love Care Home, Ebenezer Orphanage Home, Rev. Longsa Memorial and Sharon Home Dimapur.

The children had undergone a 45-day training camp at Dimapur organized by Bendang Walling, before performing at Raj Bhavan.
