NSCN (I-M) Thursday asserted it has taken strong exception to the “mischievous propaganda” emanating from the “so called Kuki State Demand Committee (KSDC)”, who it stated has resorted to public blockade in Kuki dominated areas and intimidating the neighboring Naga villages to support the demand for Kuki state or face dire consequences.

In a press release issued by MIP/GPRN, NSCN (I-M) stated that it also considered the use of “provocative languages” by the blockade supporters as “uncalled for”, which must be stopped forthwith.

To justify their demand for a separate Kuki state, MIP said Kuki National Organization (KNO) produced a forged Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between KNO and NSCN in the year 2010.

Stating that there was an open display of “bogus sketched map” extracted from the Memorandum submitted by the Kuki National Assembly (KNA) to the Prime Minister of India, MIP said it was “simply unscrupulous”, without an iota of truth, and “to fool the general populace” masterminded from the higher level agencies in connivance with the Manipur government.

NSCN (I-M) maintained that whatever was the “mechanism of propaganda” adopted by the Kuki bodies to justify the demand for Kuki state, nothing could be far from truth based on the historical and political rights (fact) of the Nagas.

The physical and political boundary of the Nagas, NSCN (I-M) said was “inalienable and God forbids using His name for spreading false propaganda as resorted by the KNO.”

Further, asserting what was being “vainly attempted” by the Kukis was “misleading and obnoxious” from the historical point of view, NSCN (I-M) said Nagas would not tolerate any means used by the Kukis to distort the historical foundation of the Nagas.

It stated that “intrusion” of Kuki organizations – KNO and KNA – into Naga territories through their “bogus sketched map and forged MoU will not stand the test of time.”

NSCN (I-M) cautions against collection
NSCN (I-M) chaplee affairs kilonser has cautioned that no form of collection in the name of donation or any form from any source either from the individuals or business establishments would be tolerated.

In a press release, ministry of chaplee affairs secretary M.Daniel Lotha stated that the directive was necessitated in the wake of rampant collection in the name of donation that dampened the festive atmosphere of the general public, adding it was also against the law of its government.

Therefore, ministry of chaplee affairs has directed all the concern authorities of NSCN/GPRN to stand alert and keep vigil on such anti-social activities.
