11 colonies to adopt District Hospital Phek medical wards

Eleven colonies of Phek town would be adopting medical wards of District Hospital Phek (DHP) and would help in managing, cleaning and revamping the wards.
According to a press note by press secretary Phek Town Youth Society (PTYS), Kedupa Venuh, the decision was taken during a coordination meeting of PTYS and District Hospital Welfare Committee Phek (DHWCP) on Wednesday.
The release stated that the meeting has jointly agreed to let 11 colonies of Phek town adopt medical wards after having discussed difficulties and cognitive factors faced by the department in various channels. 
It issued the list of the adoption as: Bethany-I Colony-casualties ward; Bethany –II Colony-female medical ward; Hebron-I Colony-male medical ward; Hebron-II Colony-female surgical ward; Zion Colony-cabin-4; Bible Hill Colony-OPD room; Mission Compound Colony-male surgical ward; New Colony-gynecology ward; Bethel Colony-cabin-1; Jerico-I Colony-cabin- 3; Jerico-II Colony- cabin- 2 and PTYS office bearers-pediatric ward.
The meeting was chaired by dentist Dr. Nungotso while pediatrician Dr. Wetshelo, pathologist Dr. Rongsen and GDMO Dr. Kevisevolie shared their views on the expansion of hospital amenities to help the poor and needy in the town and neighboring villages. PTYS president, Neizote Venuh also expressed gratefulness to DHWC Phek for their untiring tasks.
