Organisations condemn life attempt on L Doulo

Organisations have condemned the life attempt meted to proprietor of Kuda Cold Storage, L Doulo on September 18 by unidentified armed miscreants. 
CRPO: Chizami Range Public Organization (CRPO) has strongly condemned the attempted murder on one of its senior and respected members, Lhoupenyi Doulo. Condemning the incident, CRPO has appealed the concerned authority to take stringent and prompt action against the perpetrators at the earliest.
MVC: Model Village Council (MVC) 5th mile Dimapur has condemned the act of NSCN (K) on the life attempt of L. Doulo, a peace loving grandfather and a respected senior citizen of the village. MVC has urged the concern authority to immediately book the culprits and award befitting punishment as per law of the land and has further warned that such criminal acts within the village jurisdiction will be dealt with dire consequences in future.   
CYO: Chakhroma Youth Organisation has expressed shock at the life attempt on L. Doulo by miscreants and has appealed to individuals, Naga National Groups or any organisation to refrain from doing such anti-social activities which may harass the sentiment and emotion of the public and affect the peaceful atmosphere of its jurisdiction. CYO has further appealed to the law enforcing agencies to book the culprit and punish them according to the law.
TYOD: Thetsumi Youth Organisation Dimapur (TYOD) has vehemently condemned the life attempt on proprietor L. Doulo members of NSCN (K). TYOD has appealed the higher authority of NSCN (K) to come out with the truth and to reveal the identity of the culprits. It further appealed the law enforcers to leave no stones unturned during the course of investigation and nab the culprits at the earliest.
PCCI: Phek Chamber of Commerce & Industries (PCCI) has expressed shock and condemned the life attempt on L. Doulo by miscreants. PCCI stated that life attempt, threat, extortion and murder upon the business community in the state should be stopped. PCCI has asked miscreants to stop taxation and extortion and start “feeding themselves”. It also reiterated its commitment to peace, safety and security upon business community and Nagas.
TVC: Thetsümi Village Council (TVC) has vehemently condemned the life attempt on L. Doulo by members of NSCN (K). TVC has asked the so called NPGs whether they are sincerely committed to work for the Naga cause or work for their own self-interest by involving in such anti-social activities. Terming the act as cowardly and a direct insult to every Naga, TVC has appealed to all the right thinking citizens to stand united against such barbaric act. TVC has urged upon the state government to come out with a policy to protect and safeguard the unarmed civilians and also demanded the law enforcing agencies to book those culprits at the earliest and award befitting punishment as per the law of the land.
TSU: Thetsumi Students’ Union (TSU) has strongly condemned the life attempt on L. Doula, an elderly entrepreneur, by the armed cadres of NSCN (K). TSU stated that the demand and life attempt from a group under the guise of national work has damaged the good image of NSCN (K). It said that such act has not only demoralised the Naga people to support such a faction but has also demeaned the group. The union pointed out that the senior entrepreneur has been struggling to provide employment and job opportunities to local youths and that the NPGs should encourage such people instead of trying to stifle their enterprises by making huge demands. TSU has appealed NSCN (K) to punish the erring cadres so that goodwill and allegiance would prevail. It has also appealed all right thinking citizens to condemn the barbaric act and appealed to the law enforcing agencies to book the perpetrators and award befitting punishment.
WCH: Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) while vehemently condemning the life attempt on L Doulo has asked NSCN (K) to answer as to why such action was taken upon the Chakhesang community repeatedly in a short span of time. In a condemnation note, WCH president, Vekhosayi Nyekha and general secretary, Kiesalie Thopi, claimed that few days earlier, two information slips by Akaho Jimo, brigadier finance in charge of Dimapur and Khumutsa Naga finance secretary of NSCN (K) was given to L Doulo for payment of tax to NSCN (K). It claimed that on September 18, five persons claiming to be from NSCN (K) came to the office of Kuda cold storage and tried to assassinate L Doulo.  The hoho asked NSCN (K) on what ground the life attempt on a Naga Septuagenarian businessman was carried upon. It also claimed that the NSCN (K) cadres had taken the life of a young taxi driver at Kohima.WCH has also requested law enforcing agencies and the administration to book the criminals so as to avoid public resorting to their own means in safeguarding citizens’ lives.
TWD: Thetsumi Welfare Dimapur (TWD) has condemned the cowardly act of the NSCN (K) members and expressed shock and disheartened by the life attempt bona fide and fatherly figure member, L Doulo. TWD has questioned the NSCN (K) authorities why a life attempt was made on its member when Nagas were contributing voluntarily at various capacities to all Naga national groups. TWD has also appealed every right thinking Naga citizen to stand united against such elements which are detrimental to the society. It has further appealed the law enforcing agencies to identify the assailants at the earliest and book them as per the provisions of the law and do justice to the law abiding citizens. 
NCD: Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has expressed shock and anger at the attempted murder of L. Doulo and stated that, such cowardly act has been looming threat to the Naga society and that Nagas should not allow these goons to terrorize them. NCD has further urged the law enforcing agencies to apprehend the perpetrators at the earliest and award befitting punishment.
