More condemn Oct 23 murder

Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) has condemned the brutal daylight murder of late Alino Lotha by Rupak Singh on October 23. 
Condemning the murder, NTC media cell termed it as a heinous act which deserves condemnation from all sections of society. NTC said the criminal-justice system should pronounce fast and befitting punishment to the accused. 
NTC has strongly urged the police to conclude its investigation at the earliest as crime against women in the state was increasing every year with little re-dressal measures. NTC stated that government should ponder on the setting up of fast-track courts to settle such matters.
MKPON: Mech Kachari Public Organization Nagaland (MKPON) has strongly urged the administration to punish the accused, Rupak Singh, as deem fit of the heinous crime so that such barbaric crimes were not repeated. MKPON also extended deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to Almighty to grant the departed eternal peace.
