FPA India delegates on three day visit

FPA India delegates along with His Excellency, Shankaranarayanan Governor of Nagaland.

FPA India delegates V.M Koliwad, secretary general, J.E Mistry, financial advisor and Dr. Narendra Kumar, project co-ordinator, GCACP from Head office, Mumbai is on a three day visit to Nagaland Branch to finalize identified sites to start new Reproductive Health & Family Planning Center at Kohima.
Informing this in a release, Vincent Belho, Branch Manager, Nagaland Branch, said the team on August 1 started its marathon schedules by meeting staffs and volunteers of the Nagaland Branch and called on the Governor of Nagaland.
The visiting delegates shared works and projects implemented by Nagaland Branch besides briefing His Excellency on the proposed opening of Reproductive Health & Family Planning Center (RHFPC) at Kohima to cater to the needs of most vulnerable and needy women population for prevention of maternal and child morbidity and mortality besides prevention of unsafe abortion.
His Excellency also shared his opinion about need of proper awareness, education and empowerment of women, besides economic empowerment to enable women to decide their reproductive health & rights.
The visiting team also expressed gratitude to His Excellency for supporting FPA India, Nagaland Branch in different manner and prayed to continue his blessings to Nagaland Branch. The team visited different identified sites for verification and consider for starting RHFPC- Kohima.
