AR host dinner for orphans

A dinner pasrty was hosted by 30 Assam Rifles Delta Company at Longleng town orphanage home at on July 30.
Addressing the children and staff of the orphanage on behalf of Col Deepak Dadhwal, Commanding Officer of 30 Assam Rifles, Longleng Past Commander of AR, Major Rajiv Chaudhary assured to continue its Samaritan service by extending all possible support to the children whom he described as the future of the country. He also alluded to the residential building constructed by the 30 AR for the orphanage home in the month of June 2008 apart from taking up several developmental projects and highlighted that the last service rendered was not the first time that the Assam Rifles have proved to be the real friends of the hill people.
The occasion was attended by many important personalities including B. Henset, vice principal Yingli College, Rhoshito, EAC Longleng, C. Thepen, president Phom Students' Union, Manchi Phom, executive secretary PBCA, Leisa Phom, chairman Longleng Town Council, Asangla, planning officer PBCA and host of individuals.
