SOP to continue in Kohima

A security co-ordination meeting held Tuesday afternoon in the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, decided to continue with Standard Operation Procedure (SOP), which is in operation in the state capital.
According to an official bulletin, the meeting reviewed the law and order situation in and around Kohima and further resolved to make all out efforts to flush out underground cadres from civilian inhabited areas.
Besides officials from the district administration headed by DC Kohima Sachopra Vero, the security co-ordination meeting was attended SP Kohima Renchamo Kikon, deputy commandant, 14th NAP and representatives from the Assam Rifles.
Meanwhile, DC Kohima has convened an emergency meeting of public leaders on July 16 at 12:30 p.m in the conference hall of the DC Kohima, in connection with maintenance of law and order situation in and around the State capital.
The DC in a notification requested chairperson, Kohima Municipal Council, presidents of Angami Public Organization, Angami Women Organization, Angami Youth Organization, panchayat chairmen of all colonies, all GBs of Kohima town, VCC and head GB of Jotsoma village and Kohima Village, to attend the meeting.
