A Gospel film in Nagamese titled "Temptation", a venture of Ngaipao Film Society (NFS), was released Sunday at a simple function held at Poumai Baptist Church, 5th Mile Model Village, Dimapur, with vice chairperson, Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), DP Angami gracing the release function as the chief guest. Lauding the production unit, crew and cast members for successful release of the film, DP Angami in his address hoped that the film would go a long way in inspiring the youths to abandon the path of sin and tread the path of righteousness for a fuller and meaningful life. Dwelling on the film's title, he said "temptation" can be found everywhere, even in the Church, and that the main challenge of the believers was how to overcome temptations in varied forms. The DMC vice chairperson also said in the present society, the electronic media (Film) had become a powerful medium to spread the Word of God and change the lives of the youths. He further encouraged the production members and actors to make full use of their God-given talents. The film was later premiered in the Church for the congregation and well wishers. The film directed by Chopolou Khazi and produced by Thaizi Duo, mainly revolves on the lives of two college students played by Romeo Duo and Benty Roveine, and the various temptations they encounter in their lives. The lead character starts as a God-fearing boy who is good in studies and regularly goes to Church, but is gradually dragged into the world of drugs and alcohol due to peer pressure.
