NCWA: Nagaland Catholic Women Association (NCWA) has expressed shock over the brutal rape and murder of late Anukumba and expressed deep concern over the alarming increase in the rate of crime in the sate particularly women and children. A release issued by Celine Lea, president, NCWA requested the law enforcing agencies to find out the culprits and book as per law. While condoling the demise of late Anukumba, the association has appealed all citizens to 'wake-up against such heinous crimes' committed against the innocent.
HASSU: Highway Area Sumi Students' Union (HASSU) while condemning August 17 incident has appealed to the state government and law enforcing agencies to immediately arrest the culprits and award befitting punishment "so that in future such shameful and heinous crime will never be repeated."
Meanwhile, the students' body has also reminded "the law enforcing agencies that failure or compromising this kind of cases cannot be tolerated," adding "the union shall not be the silent spectator but shall initiate its own course of action for the students' rights."
The union general secretary, Himato K Yeptho in a release has expressed condolence to the deceased's family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
CVSU: Chekiye Village Students' Union (CVSU), president, Junito K Zhimo and general secretary, Elika V Zhimo in a joint press note has also condemned the incident while has appealed law enforcing agencies to immediately arrest the "culprits" and award befitting punishment.
Meanwhile, the union has also expressed its "deepest condolence" to family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NSF, DNSU: Naga Students' Federation (NSF) and Dimapur Naga Students' Union (DNSU) has condemned the August 17 incident, where Anukampa Dhan, a class IX student of Mount Carmel School was raped and murder within the vicinity of school compound. Such action committed against the innocent student is a slur to the students' community which is intolerable; the episode has brought shock to the whole students' community.
In a joint release by Meijiang Gonmei, secretary sports and games NSF and I. Mangyang Jamir, general secretary DNSU has questioned on the safety of the students whether the school principal/proprietor and teaching faculty can impart education with dedication if intermediation, rape, murder and killing stand at their doorstep. The devious behavior of such callous person committed against the student has no place in the society and it is condemnable by one and all. The federation and DNSU has appealed the law enforcing agency to investigation/interrogation against those suspected person caught and booked the culprit for befitting punishment deem fit according to the law.

CVC: Chekiye Village Council (CVC) has condemned the rape and murder of Anukampa Dhan, a student of Carmel Higher Secondary School, Dimapur. The CVC vice chairman, S. Toiho Yeptho in a release has appealed the government and the law enforcing agencies to apprehend the culprit and award befitting punishment.
Further the council has conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
ANCSU: All Nagaland College Students' Union (ANCSU) has condemned the rape and murder of Anukampa Dhan and has demanded the authority to book the culprit according to the law. The union has also extended its condolence to the bereaved family members and to the school authorities.
