: Expressing resentment against vice chancellor Prof. K Kannan for “aggravating” the crisis in the university by suspending eight more CEC NUTA members, the Post Graduate Students’ Union, Kohima campus (PGSUK) has warned that the vice chancellor would be held solely responsible for any untoward incident in the university. PGSUK in a press statement issued its general secretary by Shevapa Vadeo lamented that the university had lost its objectives and visions as it was rocked by crisis after crisis. The union also stated that contrary to Kannan’s assurance to PGSUK in his letter dated August 29, to immediately solve the problems dogging the university, he had aggravated the situation by suspending eight more teachers. Meanwhile, PGSUK has convened an executive meeting Tuesday at 9 a.m at for Kohima campus, and at 11 a.m with all the three campuses of NU at History & Archaeology Department.
