Possibly the most earnest rock band in the world, Abiogenesis by trusting their instincts, pushing their song craft to the limit and meticulously perfecting it with skilled mixing of Naga folk tunes with modern music like rock, R&B, Jazz etc has soared to new artistic heights with their second album of Howey music Rustic Relish. The album was released at a simple yet significant function Monday at their own Soul Speak Studio, Dimapur. The CD which was recorded last November till July this year was officially released through its Indie Label APH Records along with its global marketing collaborators like CD Baby (USA), Soar Valley Music (UK) and Tempo Music (Australia) for physical CD distribution and more than 60 digital distribution companies like Apple itunes, Napsters, Rhapsody and Amazon. Rustic Relish “is fresh, original and unspoiled music which will leave a feeling of satisfaction and relaxed ambience on the listener” says Moa Subong, inventor of Bam- Hum known for his driving guitars and subtly original poignant lyrics. Catapulting them far beyond their previous works to create a sound that’s epic, intimate and beautiful, Abiogenesis delivers one highlight after another including “Nap in the Couch” and “Child’s Mood”. Well known for Howey fusion and which has now become Abiogenesis’ identity and brand of music, the stunning and uplifting “Yearning for tomorrow” a beautiful song is destined to become a fan favorite. Abiogenesis lead vocalist Arenla, guitar/ Bamhum/ Harmonica player Moa Subong, guitarist, Longden, bassist Kongdir and drummer/percussions Imli, whose overall six albums including Rustic Relish have worked diligently to reach this creative apex in repackaging Naga folk sounds for the world.
