Manipur Police lift volley trophy

Manipur Police won the 4th Nagaland Open Volleyball tournament, organized by Northern Angami Students Union (NASU). In the finals on Saturday, Manipur Police stunned defending Champion Faithballers, Guwahati 18-25, 25- 23, 26-24 and 25-21. Earlier, ARC Shillong beat 33rd AR Phek 21-25, 17-25, 25-16, 25-21 and 15-6 to win the third place. The prizes were distributed by Neise Mech, director, Land Resources Development. Awards Champions Manipur Police - Rs.40, 000, a running trophy donated by the family of late G. Rio and certificates Runner-up Faithballers Guwahati - Rs.30,000 with certificates. Third place ARC Shillong - Rs.15, 000 with certificates. Fourth Place 33rd AR Phek- Rs.10,000 with certificates. Individual prizes Best Libero (Rs.2000) Yingliei (Ailung Kon Longleng) Best Spiker(Rs.2000) Doyal Hazarika(ARC Shilong) Best Setter (Rs.2000) Binoy Kumar (33rd AR Phek) Player of the tourney (Rs. 3,000) Maan (Faithballers)
