LG distributorship launched in State

The launching ceremony of LG electronic distributorship for the state of Nagaland was held Monday at Eastern Enterprises office complex, NL Road, Dimapur, with Mrs. Kaisa Rio, wife of Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio as the chief guest. Addressing the distributors, dealers, employees of LG and well wishers, Mrs. Rio congratulated Eastern Enterprises for bagging the dealership of one of the most prestigious, trusted, tried and tested household appliances company in the world. She called upon the distributor to keep in mind the thrust reposed by the company and to see that customers were catered to in the best possible manner. The chief guest also lauded Eastern Enterprises for employing fifty local youths and said such initiative was a major step towards solving the unemployment problem in the State, which has reached saturation point, especially in government sectors. Exhorting Naga youth to be more consistent and dedicated in their profession if they wanted to climb the ladder of success, Mrs. Rio also reminded that part of unemployment problem was due to Naga youth constantly changing their profession and work place. Co-proprietor of Eastern Enterprises, Basu Damani in his welcome address said the firm was making all efforts to employ local work force to partly solve the staggering unemployment problem in the State. Disclosing that out of present sixty five employees of Eastern Enterprises, fifty were Nagas, Damani also said the firm would soon employ another one hundred Naga youth. “We want to prove that private entrepreneurship is better and more rewarding than government jobs,” he added. Dr. John Murry, also co-proprietor of Eastern Enterprises, who chaired the function also offered vote of thanks. Murry thanked all dealers and employees of the firm and said the joint cooperation venture would go a long way in expansion of business in the State.
