‘Shirimai’ releases video album

'Shirimai', a group of comedy actors who with their sense of humor and wit, have been entertaining people with their comical acts and jokes since long in various platforms. 'Shirimai' consists of three young and energetic men Limawapang Longhchar, Temjenyanger Kichu and Nungsangkokba Kichu. Since childhood days, they have been performing comedy acts in various Church and Christmas programs. Their act or play includes a mixture of songs, or contextual discussions. Their play depicts day to day happenings between families, young lovers, about government officers moral in the story. On Friday, 'Shirimai' released a video album of some of their many performances throughout their journey. The video album is a compilation of their acts and plays documented on video. While releasing the album, a member of the 'Shirimai' said with this album they hope some good and positive changes in the society will be brought about through their witty jokes. It was also brought to light could come out with this album out of the offerings received after each performance at various places. The video album was released by Sosangmeren, Editor Ao Milen at a formal function held at 'Rhythm 802' restaurant. Delivering a brief speech, the editor expressed hope that through the effort of 'Shirimai', there would be great changes in the society. He also said this was a new kind of venture in the state and called upon members of 'Shirimai' to continue and keep up their good work.
